Privacy Policy

Last updated July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ministry Tools LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use SermonAI (the "Service") at https://sermonai.pro. We built SermonAI for pastors and ministry teams, and we take stewardship of your sermon content seriously.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account information: name, email address, authentication details, and profile settings
  • Organization information: church or team account details, member invitations, and roles
  • User Content: sermons, audio/video files, manuscripts, YouTube or media links you provide, transcripts, and generated outputs
  • Billing information: subscription status and payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Usage and device data: log data, approximate location derived from IP address, browser/app type, and product interaction events needed to operate and secure the Service
  • Communications: messages you send through support or contact forms

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts
  • Transcribe sermons and generate requested ministry content
  • Process subscriptions and prevent fraud
  • Send transactional emails (for example, account, billing, and security notices)
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not use your sermon content to train AI models. Your content is processed to deliver the outputs you request and to operate the Service for your account.

3. AI Processing and Subprocessors

To deliver transcription and content generation, we use trusted third-party infrastructure and AI providers. Those providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us and under contractual and technical safeguards. They are not permitted to use your sermon content to train their models for their own purposes under our provider arrangements.

We also use providers for hosting, authentication, storage, email delivery, and payment processing (including Supabase and Stripe). We share information with subprocessors only as needed to operate the Service.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or sermon content. We may share information:

  • With service providers that help us run the Service
  • With team members you invite to your workspace, according to permissions you set
  • If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
  • With your direction or consent

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and (where enabled) analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data and User Content while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After cancellation, content may remain available in a limited form so you do not lose previously generated materials, unless you request deletion.

When you request account deletion, we delete associated personal data and User Content from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example, billing records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for stored content, access controls, and secure password hashing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your account credentials.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@sermonai.pro. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically within 30 days).

You can update certain account information in your settings. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the link in those messages. Transactional messages related to your account may still be sent.

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual protections.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@sermonai.pro so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice.
