Data Security
How SermonAI stores and protects your data.
SermonAI takes the security of your data seriously. Here's how we protect your account and content.
Infrastructure
- Encrypted in transit — all data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
- Encrypted at rest — your files, transcriptions, and generated content are stored with encryption
- Hosted on trusted infrastructure — SermonAI runs on industry-standard cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance
Authentication
- Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text
- Google sign-in is available as an alternative authentication method
- You can change your password at any time from your account settings
Data retention
- Active accounts — your sermons, transcriptions, and generated content are stored as long as your account is active
- Cancelled accounts — your data remains accessible in read-only mode after cancellation so you don't lose your previously generated content
- Deleted accounts — when you request account deletion, all associated data (uploads, transcriptions, generated content, and personal information) is permanently removed
Requesting your data
You have the right to request a copy of all data associated with your account. To make a request, email support@sermonai.pro and we'll respond within 30 days.
